My practice is rooted in the shifting ground that underlies narrative, memory and identity.
Timeworn books and textiles are my entryway. I am inspired by their feel and smell and the mysterious marks of use. For me they embody the individual and cultural stories we inhabit. Altering them is a way of creating ambiguity.
My work is driven by the power of the untold story.
